About Our Pastor
Dr Wayne Giles and his wife Sharon have served the Lord together for 38 years. As of 2006, they have taught in Bible College for the last 19 years.
At present Dr. Giles, a graduate of four Bible colleges and seminaries, is the Dean of Victory Baptist Bible College & Seminary in Hampton, Virginia. He also works with Armed Forces Baptist Missions as an Advisor to the Associate and Lay Missionaries.Pastor Giles states, “We have come to love the warm spirit of the people at Trinity Baptist Church and believe this is where the Lord wants us to serve.“
Pastor Giles hails from Danville, VA and his wife, Sharon hails from Mooresville, NC.“People should enjoy the church experience. They should be encouraged, challenged, and inspired from the pulpit. We should desire and pray for the winning of souls to the Lord. We should pray that God’s people will experience real conviction to serve and be faithful to the Lord. Doing these things will strengthen the local body of believers and give God’s folk a desire to be more like Jesus.” Pastor Wayne Giles
Mrs. Giles loves working with the ladies of the church. She plans ladies teas, special meetings, outings and special trips for the ladies. She is an accomplished pianist.
